A falling star is not a dead star
A few days ago, God reminded me of a black hole that just opened in outer space. A black hole is a massive object with immense gravity that is unescapable, absorbing whatever matter that surrounds it while enlarging its size. A black hole can be formed by the death of a star. It occurs when a star has exhausted the internal thermonuclear fuel in its core where it becomes unstable and collapses inward. Either big or small, a star can die. But imagine if a massive star dies, its impact is larger; therefore called a supernova. If a well known public figure ended up in a scandal, the whole country and world would know compared to a lowly beggar on the street! No one would care.
This morning during my worship time before I left for work, I received this revelation. God blessed and promised Abraham that his descendants will increase as much as the stars in the night sky. Although we are not his direct descendants, Israelites, thanks to the grace of Jesus Christ, we have the DNA of Christ when we received Him as our saviour. As if we are like hummingbirds being adopted by an eagle and grown up in an eagle's nest. Fed like an eagle. Trained to fly like an eagle. Hunt like an eagle. Mentality of an eagle.
What does it take to become a star? A star is a source of light, a source of energy. The sun is a big star. It resembles Father, God, the mightiest of them all. We are little stars. In each of us, we have a source of light. To keep on shining, we must tap into the source of light, the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. Those who do not tap into the source, loses its energy source and under high stress and exhaustion, they will become unstable and collapses inwards to themselves. Focused on themselves. Absorbing everything that surrounds them to themselves. Energy, time, space, and matter. That is a dead star and nothing can revive it unless it is done supernaturally.
He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”
Genesis 15:5 NIV
God knows how many stars are there in His sky. He counts each every one and knows every position where they are located. I personally have not seen any falling stars in my entire life. However, God reminded me that a falling star is not a dead star. It resembles a star that is being sent for a task. Remember, that people often make wishes when they see a falling star? I'm not that supersticious, however, people "make" wishes and hope that they'll come true. This means there are certain expectations that are being looking forward to. When, stars are being sent, they are off to finish their mandate. If they know that they are stars, they will shine and give off heat to their surroundings. They are not afraid to be in the dark, because they know that they emit brightness and energy to their environment. They influence their surroundings. Yes, movers, shakers, changers, and shapers.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 NIV
Next point, I am not able to explain in scientific evidence, since I'm not a physicist nor an astronomer, I'm just a plant scientist. However, God reminded me that symbolically, stars give birth to stars. As stars that have been sent, we have the obligation to get our jobs well done. Our job is to make disciples of all nations as written in Matthew 28:19-20. It is a command, to minister and serve, spread good news. This doesn't mean convert everyone to Christian as in religion, but as believers of Christ. Every star have their timepoints in life when they will fully serve Him and only Him. Serving is not a matter of being a pastor or a priest, but how deep the Word of God is planted in our lives, will be manifested through our habits, actions, speech, way of thinking and lifestyle. It is based on the fruit that we bare. Therefore, we ought to grow, our spirit needs to grow, our inner man needs to grow until God approves. Then, He will show us our purpose, His favor, and take us higher up to the next level.
